I Taught Total Beginners How to Bond with Camels

 When a group of total beginners step into the camel yard, unsure of what to expect, magic can happen—especially when connection leads the way.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to host the wonderful crew from Channel Seven’s Adventure All Stars.

These folks came from all walks of life, and most of them had never even touched a camel before, let alone seen one! But that didn’t stop us from diving deep into what I call Camel Connection—building trust, bonding, understanding behaviour, and creating calm communication between humans and camels.

In just one hands-on session, we explored body language, energetic presence, and how to give basic cues and commands.

It’s always so inspiring to witness that moment when someone connects with a camel for the first time—the shift from nervousness to curiosity, and eventually, calm confidence.
